{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-316.131","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 316.131","heading":"Reinstatement of expired license.","body":"(1) The board may reinstate an embalmer's or a funeral director's license that has\nexpired for failure to renew within three (3) years of the license's expiration if the\napplicant for reinstatement:\n(a) Pays a late fee and the renewal fees, as set out in admin istrative regulations\npromulgated by the board, for the period during which the license was\nexpired; and\n(b) Provides proof that the applicant has met the cumulative continuing education\nrequirements for the period during which the license was expired.\n(2) The board may reinstate an embalmer's or a funeral director's license that has\nexpired for failure to renew more than three (3) years after the license's expiration if\nthe applicant for reinstatement:\n(a) Pays a late fee and the renewal fees, as set out in administrative regulations\npromulgated by the board, for the period during which the license was\nexpired;\n(b) Provides proof that the applicant has met all the cumulative continuing\neducation requirements for the period during which the license was expi red;\nand\n(c) Demonstrates that the applicant is able to practice embalming or funeral\ndirecting with reasonable competence.
