{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-317a.040","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 317A.040","heading":"Board personnel -- Administration.","body":"(1) The board may employ inspectors and any other personnel reasonably necessary to\ncarry out the provisions of this chapter, whose compensations shall be established\nwithin budgetary limits by the Personnel Cabinet. The board may delegate staffing\ndecisions to the executive director.\n(2) The board shall by appropriate order employ an executive director who shall be\ncharged with the responsibility of administering the provisions of this chapter, and\nthe policies and administrative regulations of the board relating to cosmetology, nail\ntechnology, and esthetic practices.\n(3) The executive director may receive a salary as may be established by classification\nof the position by the Personnel Cabinet.\n(4) The board shall publish or electronically provide copies of i ts administrative\nregulations and any proposed amendments to all persons licensed by it and to any\nother persons, places, or agencies as may be required by law or deemed by it\nreasonably necessary to the administration of the provisions of this chapter.","path":["KRS Chapter 317A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=56211","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:13Z","sha256":"1f1a42e9b220ba081a59a05819faaf364f64bc8701ac4aeb3c433497e4272d40","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-317a.030","next":"us-ky/krs-317a.050"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
