{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-317a.080","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 317A.080","heading":"Kentucky Board of Cosmetology trust and agency fund -- Disposition of","body":"fees.\n(1) There is hereby established in the State Treasury the Kentucky Board of\nCosmetology trust and agency fund.\n(2) The fund shall be administered by the board.\n(3) (a) All fees collected by the board shall be deposited into the fund and shall be\nused only for the purpose of administering the provisions of this chapter as it\nrelates to the board.\n(b) The cost and expenses of administering the provisions of this chapter\nincluding compensation to members of the board and its officers and\nemployees shall be paid out of the State Treasury upon warrants of the\nsecretary of the Finance and Administration Cabinet according to law.\nHowever, the total expense of administering thes e provisions shall not exceed\nthe fees and other charges collected by the board and available in the fund;\n(4) Notwithstanding KRS 45.229, fund amounts not expended at the close of a fiscal\nyear shall not lapse but shall be carried forward into the next fiscal year.\n(5) Any interest earnings of the fund shall become a part of the fund and shall not lapse.\n(6) Moneys deposited in the fund are hereby appropriated for the purposes set forth in\nthis section and shall not be appropriated or transferred by the Ge neral Assembly\nfor any other purposes.","path":["KRS Chapter 317A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=47212","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:14Z","sha256":"9e05259739a84a48594b2db5af2cd5e26e1703f48236c8ad89808ebdc6a0556b","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-317a.070","next":"us-ky/krs-317a.090"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
