{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-317a.145","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 317A.145","heading":"Complaint procedure -- Investigation -- Action against violator --","body":"Inspections.\n(1) The board shall receive complaints concerning any person licensed under this\nchapter relating to the licensee's business or professional practices. The board m ay\ninvestigate all complaints concerning any person licensed under the provisions of\nthis chapter. The board may on its own volition initiate such an investigation and\nshall promulgate administrative regulations necessary for the administration of the\nprovisions of this section.\n(2) If upon investigation there appears to be a violation of the provisions of this\nchapter, the board shall take such action as it deems necessary under the provisions\nof KRS 317A.140.\n(3) For the purpose of enforcing the provision s of this chapter, officers, agents, and\ninspectors of the board may enter upon premises of all facilities issued a permit or\nlicense by the board, at all reasonable times and during periods when those premises\nare otherwise open to the public, and make in spections to determine compliance\nwith this chapter and the administrative regulations promulgated by the board, and\ninspect books, papers, or records pertaining to the licensed activity, a copy of which\nmay be obtained by the board officer, agent, or inspector.","path":["KRS Chapter 317A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=47218","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:14Z","sha256":"f6e0f9b4d0bdbf63e2b61b32de09c46dfe8667124e9e69c2fbed7390fba7562e","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-317a.140","next":"us-ky/krs-317a.150"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
