{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-318.020","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 318.020","heading":"Apprentices, maintenance men, water company or district employees","body":"exempt.\n(1) Nothing contained in this chapter shall be construed as prohibiting the employment\nof an apprentice to assist a journeyman plumber in his duties.\n(2) This chapter shall not apply to anyone who is employed or acts as a maintenance\nman.\n(3) This chapter shall not apply to persons employed by any water company, water\ndistrict or sanitation district, in the laying, maintenance, and operation of its mains\nand other appurtenances in the conduct of its business.\n(4) The provisions of this chapter relating to the licensure of plumbers shall apply to all\npersons engaged in the practice of plumbing.","path":["KRS Chapter 318"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=31185","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:14Z","sha256":"c2238f1a9298d5a9097be1ac1594a309cae8cb2efbd01b5811c6e49552e06fb5","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-318.015","next":"us-ky/krs-318.030"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
