{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-318.080","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 318.080","heading":"State Plumbers Examining Committee.","body":"(1) In order to conduct examinations for persons to qualify as licensed master\nplumbers or journeyman plumbers, the department shall appoint as examiners\nthe following persons to a State Plumbers Examining Committee: An employee\nof the department and three (3) other persons who shall be licensed either as\nmaster or journeyman plumbers. The commissioner shall be an ex officio\nexaminer and permanent commissioner of the examining committee. With the\nexception of the issuance of any order involving the revocation, suspension or\ncancellation of a master or journeyman plumber's license, the commissioner\nmay  delegate to a subordinate employee in the department the power to be\npresent and participate, including the right to vote, as his or her representative\nat any meeting, hearing or other proceeding of the State Plumbers Examining\nCommittee. Plumber examiners shall serve at the pleasure of the department.\n(2) The  department shall appoint assistant plumber examiners who are qualified\nlicensed master or journeyman plumbers, who shall serve at the pleasure of\nthe department. Assistant plumber examiners shall perform duties as are\ndelegated to them by the State Plumbers Examining Committee.\n(3) Plumber  examiners and  assistant plumber examiners shall receive no\ncompensation for their services, but shall be reimbursed for their necessary\ntraveling expenses.","path":["KRS Chapter 318"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=47003","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:14Z","sha256":"e4154ab2dd917b0078abfdc57c0df91562762f073d582274ef779f33f413319d","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-318.077","next":"us-ky/krs-318.090"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
