{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-319a.110","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 319A.110","heading":"Application for license.","body":"(1) An applicant for licensure as an occupational therapist or as an occupational therapy\nassistant shall file a written application on a form provided by the board, showing to\nthe satisfaction of the board that the person:\n(a) Is of good moral character; and\n(b) Has successfully completed the academic requirements of an educational\nprogram in occupational therapy or for occupational therapy assistants\naccredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association's Accreditation\nCouncil for Occupational Therapy Education or its equivalent.\n(2) An applicant shall submit to the board evidence of successful completion of a\nperiod of supervised fieldwork experience arranged by the recognized educational\ninstitution where the applicant met the academic requirements. To be considered for\nlicensure, the following minimum amount of supervised fieldwork experience shall\nhave been completed:\n(a) The equivalent of twenty-four (24) weeks for an occupational therapist; and\n(b) The equivalent of sixteen (16) weeks for an occupational therapy assistant.\n(3) An applicant for licensure as an occupational therapist or as an occupational therapy\nassistant shall pass an examination as provided for in KRS 319A.120.","path":["KRS Chapter 319A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=31264","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:15Z","sha256":"f76425933d59a1f546980a214b2f36ae4637f81054430ef463e43d2eb48afa31","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-319a.100","next":"us-ky/krs-319a.120"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
