{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-319a.140","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 319A.140","heading":"Issuance of license.","body":"On the payment to the board of fees required by this chapter and on submission of a\nwritten application on forms provided by the board, the board shall issue a license to:\n(1) A person who presents evidence satisfactory to the board of being a registered\noccupational therapist or a certified occupational therapy assistant through the\nNational Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy or its equivalent, and who\nhas met the academic and fieldwork requirements of KRS 319A.110 and the\nexamination requirement of KRS 319A.120;\n(2) A person who presents evidence satisfactory to the board of being currently\nlicensed, certified, or registered as an occupational therapist or occupational therapy\nassistant by another state, territory of the United States, or the District of Columbia,\nwhere the requirements for licensure, registration, or certification are equal to or\ngreater than the requirements set forth in this chapter; or\n(3) A person who is eligible to practice or work through a Compact privilege granted\nunder KRS 319A.310.","path":["KRS Chapter 319A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=52976","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:15Z","sha256":"03abc379d08627a9b91f99d023ab0976dca90f87b2e70d13c00b6b23b7ea2862","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-319a.130","next":"us-ky/krs-319a.150"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
