{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-319b.120","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 319B.120","heading":"Renewal, expiration, suspension, and revocation of licenses -- Fees and","body":"penalties -- Trust and agency fund.\n(1) Every license issued under this chapter shall expire on June 30 following the date of\nissuance unless sooner revoked and canceled.\n(2) On or before June 1 of each year, the board shall send notices to all licensees, at\ntheir last known addresses, advising them that the annual renewal fee is due on July\n1 of each year. Every licensee shall renew his or her license on or before July 1 of\neach year by the payment to the board of an annual renewal fee which shall be a\nreasonable fee set by administrative regulation of the board and upon submission of\na statement of compliance with the continuing education regulations of the board. If\nthis renewal fee is not paid or the statement of compliance is not submitted on or\nbefore July 1, the board shall notify the delinquent licensee by mail at his or her last\nknown address that the fee and statement are past due and that a delinquent penalty\nfee is asses sed, in addition to the renewal fee, and that the renewal fee and penalty\nmust be paid and the statement of compliance submitted on or before January 1. If\nthese fees, penalties, and statement are not submitted by January 1, it shall be the\nduty of the boa rd to suspend or revoke the license for nonpayment of the annual\nrenewal and delinquent fees or for failure to submit the statement of compliance for\nthe current year.\n(3) All fees collected under the provisions of this chapter, or the administrative\nregulations adopted pursuant to this chapter, shall be paid into the State Treasury,\nand credited to a trust and agency fund to be used in defraying the costs and\nexpenses in the administration of this chapter, including but not limited to salaries\nand necessary travel expenses.","path":["KRS Chapter 319B"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=31288","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:15Z","sha256":"ae9af5512cb86362b7f21b4b26485ced16c78d17b170f49dcd522a9be14b8257","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-319b.110","next":"us-ky/krs-319b.130"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
