{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-319c.070","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 319C.070","heading":"Probation, suspension, limitation, restriction, revocation, or nonissuance","body":"of license by board -- Reasons for.\nThe board may deny an application or reregistration for a license, place a licensee on\nprobation for a period not to exceed five ( 5) years, suspend a license for a period not to\nexceed five (5) years, limit or restrict a license for an indefinite period, or revoke any\nlicense issued by the board, upon proof that the licensee has:\n(1) Knowingly made or presented, or caused to be made or presented, any false,\nfraudulent, or forged statement, writing, certificate, diploma, or other thing, in\nconnection with an application for a license or permit;\n(2) Practiced, or aided or abetted in the practice of, fraud, forgery, deception, collusion,\nor conspiracy in connection with an examination for a license;\n(3) Entered a guilty or nolo contendere plea, or been convicted, of a crime as defined in\nKRS 335B.010, if in accordance with KRS Chapter 335B;\n(4) Been convicted of a misdemeanor offense unde r KRS Chapter 510 involving a\npatient, or a felony offense under KRS Chapter 510 or KRS 530.064(1)(a) or\n531.310, or been found by the board to have had sexual contact as defined in KRS\n510.010 with a patient while the patient was under the care of the licensee;\n(5) Become addicted to a controlled substance;\n(6) Become a chronic or persistent alcoholic;\n(7) Been unable or is unable to practice applied behavior analysis according to\nacceptable and prevailing standards of care by reason of mental or physical illness\nor other condition, including but not limited to physical deterioration that adversely\naffects cognitive, motor, or perceptive skills, or by reason of an extended absence\nfrom the active practice of applied behavior analysis;\n(8) Engaged in dishonorable, unethical, or unprofessional conduct of a character likely\nto deceive, defraud, or harm the public or any member of the public; or\n(9) Knowingly made, or caused to be made, or aided or abetted in the making of, a\nfalse statement in any document exec uted in connection with the practice of his or\nher profession.","path":["KRS Chapter 319C"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=57429","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:15Z","sha256":"5e4a23d9bdafc1da92dae756ef9fadeccc015e4812c9722b30d382927cce89bb","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-319c.060","next":"us-ky/krs-319c.080"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
