{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-319c.120","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 319C.120","heading":"Reinstatement of lapsed, suspended, or revoked license -- Appeal to","body":"Franklin Circuit Court.\n(1) The board may, within three (3) years, reinstate a license which has lapsed, upon\npayment of the prescribed renewal fee and, in addition, the payment of a\nreinstatement fee to be established by the board by administrative regulation.\n(2) The board may reinstate a license which has been lapsed for more than three (3)\nyears, upon showing that the applicant is certified and upon payment of a\nreinstatement fee.\n(3) The board may reinstate a license which has been suspended or revoked under KRS\n319C.110 if, after a hearing conducted in accordance with KRS Chapter 13B, the\nboard determines that the applicant is able to practice his or her profession with\nreasonable competency and is able to maintain the ethical code and standards of\npractice promulgated by administrative regulation. As a condition of reinstatement,\nthe board may impose reasonable restrictions under which the licensee shall\npractice.\n(4) Any person aggrieved by a final order of the board denying, suspending, or revoking\nhis or her license may appeal to the Franklin Circuit Court in accordance with KRS\nChapter 13B.","path":["KRS Chapter 319C"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=31303","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:15Z","sha256":"b8774c7407c0930f2943d43983619aaafa31f402fdd8db25680531f81a2cbbd2","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-319c.110","next":"us-ky/krs-319c.130"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
