{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-321.203","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 321.203","heading":"Veterinary facilities -- Registration.","body":"(1) Each veterinary facility and allied animal health professional facility registered with\nthe board shall submit a completed renewal application by the renewal deadline and\npay a biennial renewal fee for the renewal of the registration.\n(2) A veterinary faci lity or AAHP facility with an expired registration may have its\nregistration reinstated upon submission of a completed reinstatement application\nand payment of a reinstatement fee to the board.\n(3) A suspended veterinary facility registration or AAHP facil ity registration is subject\nto expiration and termination and shall be renewed as provided in this chapter.\nRenewal or reinstatement shall not entitle the registrant to allow the practice of\nveterinary medicine or AAHP practice on the premises or from the mobile facility\nuntil the suspension has ended or is otherwise removed by the board and the right to\noperate or practice is restored by the board.\n(4) A revoked registration is subject to expiration or termination but may not be\nrenewed. If it is reinstate d, the credential holder shall pay the reinstatement fee to\nthe board.\n(5) A veterinary facility or AAHP facility that fails to reinstate its registration within\nfive (5) years after its expiration or termination shall not have it renewed, restored,\nreissued, or reinstated. A veterinary facility or AAHP facility may apply for and\nobtain a new registration by meeting the requirements of this chapter.\n(6) The board may require that a veterinary facility or AAHP facility applying for\nrenewal or reinstatement of registration show evidence of completion of continuing\neducation by the veterinarian manager, AAHP manager, or registered responsible\nparty as prescribed by administrative regulation promulgated by the board.","path":["KRS Chapter 321"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=53929","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:16Z","sha256":"77174e0526ca9e82e759b2bc415c7befc1b4975bb4e8af0e7602a242da080f7e","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-321.201","next":"us-ky/krs-321.205"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
