{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-321.352","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 321.352","heading":"Board to establish fines through promulgation of administrative","body":"regulations.\n(1) The board shall establish the amounts, limits, or ranges for any fines imposed under\nthis chapter through the promulgation of administrative regulations. The boa rd shall\nfine any person who:\n(a) Violates or aids in the violation of KRS 321.190, 321.201, 321.207, 321.236,\n321.441, or 321.443 for practicing or for performing services without a\ncredential required by the board;\n(b) Is issued a notice of violation by the board for failure to comply with this\nchapter or administrative regulations promulgated under this chapter;\n(c) Exercises or attempts to exercise control over, interferes with, or attempts to\ninfluence the professional judgment of a credential holder i n any manner,\nincluding through coercion, collusion, extortion, inducement, or intimidation;\n(d) 1. Violates any ruling of the board or hinders any agent of the board in\ncarrying out the duties assigned to the agent;\n2. Is an officer who refuses to enforce  the provisions of this chapter when\ncalled upon by the board to do so; or\n3. Attempts in any way to hinder or obstruct the board in carrying out the\nprovisions of this chapter; or\n(e) Resists, obstructs, interferes with, threatens, attempts to intimidate, or in any\nother manner interferes with an agent of the board or who willfully refuses to\nobey their lawful orders.\n(2) The board may impose additional fines on a person who is convicted under KRS\n321.990.\n(3) Each day or part of a day that a violation continues is a separate violation and\nsubject to daily penalties.\n(4) For any violation of the Kentucky Veterinary Medicine Practice Act, in addition to\nany other fines designated in this section, the board may impose on any person fines\nin an amount equal to the cost of investigative and legal fees incurred by the board\nin processing the case.","path":["KRS Chapter 321"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=53950","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:17Z","sha256":"fcc812a3b408374d7bf3c696c25d784b0337c455c8825c8234cb78746623a980","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-321.351","next":"us-ky/krs-321.353"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
