{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-323.410","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 323.410","heading":"Issuance of certificate -- Limitation on filing application -- Persons","body":"credentialed in other jurisdictions.\n(1) The board shall issue a certificate as a certified interior designer and a certificate\nnumber to any person who:\n(a) Files an application with the board on a form prescribed by the board;\n(b) Submits written proof that the person has successfully passed the NCIDQ\nexamination and therefore has met the education and internship requirements\nestablished by NCIDQ;\n(c) Meets the standards of educat ion, experience, and testing established by the\nboard under KRS 323.406(1); and\n(d) Submits the required certification fee to the board.\n(2) No person who has violated KRS 323.402 shall file an application with the board\nfor a period of five (5) years.\n(3) The board, upon proper application under this section, shall issue a certificate as a\ncertified interior designer and a certificate number to a person credentialed as an\ninterior designer under the laws of any other country or state or territory of the\nUnited States, provided that at the time the license or certificate was issued the\napplicant met the requirements of subsection (1) of this section.","path":["KRS Chapter 323"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=31515","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:18Z","sha256":"1367194d42fae6ebf239e61e803bc8ec0a60fd95ed1602feb0976e2dff1fc826","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-323.408","next":"us-ky/krs-323.412"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
