{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-323a.100","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 323A.100","heading":"License renewal -- Notice of address change -- Expiration of licenses --","body":"Restoration of expired licenses.\n(1) All landscape architects desiring to continue practice shall annually, prior to July 1,\nrenew their licenses upon the payment of a fee and c ompletion of approved\ncontinuing education as established by the board through the promulgation of\nadministrative regulations. Each landscape architect shall furnish the information\nrequired by the board.\n(2) Each landscape architect shall give the board w ritten notice of any change of\naddress within thirty (30) days.\n(3) Licenses expire on July 1. Thereafter, individuals whose licenses have expired as a\nresult of nonrenewal may not hold themselves out to be landscape architects or\nengage in the practice of landscape architecture.\n(4) The board may restore a license within five (5) years of last expiration, upon receipt\nof payment of all applicable fees, including a reinstatement fee, and completion of\napproved continuing education as established by the boar d through the\npromulgation of administrative regulations.\n(5) Beginning on January 1, 2015, any landscape architect who fails to maintain an\nactive license for five (5) or more consecutive years or who does not hold a valid\nlicense described in KRS 323A.05 0 may restore his or her license only upon\nretaking and passing the current examination required by the board for licensure,\nand paying the reinstatement fee.","path":["KRS Chapter 323A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=43359","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:18Z","sha256":"7d41d98d3062618ca31f5281fda81c740fd1cb2746f7bfbd52c6a4efa8297603","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-323a.090","next":"us-ky/krs-323a.105"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
