{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-323a.110","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 323A.110","heading":"Grounds  for placement on probation, reprimand, refusal to issue or","body":"renew, revocation, or suspension of license.\nThe  board may  refuse to issue or renew a license, or may  place on probation,\nreprimand, suspend, or revoke the license of any landscape architect to practice\nlandscape architecture in the Commonwealth  of Kentucky, and may impose a fine of\nnot less than one hundred dollars ($100) nor more  than ten thousand dollars\n($10,000) per violation, for any of the following reasons:\n(1) Incompetence  or negligence in the practice of landscape architecture, as\ndetermined by the board;\n(2) Unprofessional conduct, or conduct tending to bring the profession into\ndisrepute, as determined by the board;\n(3) Conviction of a felony, including all instances in which a plea of nolo\ncontendere or no contest is the basis of the conviction, if in accordance with\nKRS  Chapter 335B;\n(4) Fraudulent or dishonest landscape architectural practice;\n(5) Use of false evidence or misrepresentations in an application for license;\n(6) Signing or affixing his or her seal to any plans, prints, specifications, or reports\nwhich have not been prepared by the landscape architect personally or under\nhis or her immediate supervision;\n(7) Failure to meet  the continuing education requirements established by\nadministrative regulation of the board;\n(8) Impairment due to drugs, alcohol, or mental disability to an extent that\ncontinued practice may be dangerous to clients or to public safety;\n(9) Failure to comply with an order issued by the board; and\n(10) Violation of any state statute or administrative regulation governing the practice\nof landscape architecture.","path":["KRS Chapter 323A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=46829","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:18Z","sha256":"83366c167b95166c4d2a96c55ef8a87e5b450bec045f493078c6121d92449ccf","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-323a.105","next":"us-ky/krs-323a.120"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
