{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-324.115","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 324.115","heading":"Brokers required to maintain definite place of business -- Exception for","body":"reciprocity agreements.\n(1) Except as provided in subsection (2) of this section, every broker licensed under\nKRS 324.045 shall maintain a definite place of business in this state.\n(2) A broker who is a nonresident shall not be required to maintain an active place of\nbusiness in this state if:\n(a) He or she maintains a business place in the state of original licensure;\n(b) The state of original licensure, in accordance with its re ciprocity agreement\nwith the commission, does not require Kentucky licensees holding licenses in\nthat state to maintain an office in that state; and\n(c) Paragraphs (a) and (b) of this subsection do not conflict with the commission's\nagreement of reciprocity with the state of original licensure.","path":["KRS Chapter 324"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=31567","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:19Z","sha256":"b952f2f27307b537f7e52bb2bb01ec388c181d379edf09021d6d70d4dbc65e58","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-324.112","next":"us-ky/krs-324.116"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
