{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-324.2811","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 324.2811","heading":"Automatic removal of member  from commission.","body":"A member  shall be automatically removed from the commission and a vacancy shall\nbe created if:\n(1) A licensee of the commission ceases to be a broker or sales associate;\n(2) A consumer member  of the commission acquires a license or financial interest\nin the practice of real estate;\n(3) A  member  enters a plea of guilty to, or has been found guilty of, a felony in\nwhich fraud is an essential element or to any crime involving moral turpitude\nand  the time for appeal has lapsed or the judgment or conviction has been\naffirmed on appeal;\n(4) A member  ceases to be a bona fide resident of this Commonwealth;\n(5) A member  displays incompetence, neglect of duty, or unprofessional conduct;\n(6) A member  fails to adhere to a duly adopted code of ethics of the commission.\nFailure to adhere to this code shall be determined by official action of the\ncommission; or\n(7) A  member  misses three (3) consecutive meetings or misses more  than\ntwenty-five percent (25%) of the meetings held over the previous twelve (12)\nmonth period.","path":["KRS Chapter 324"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=45684","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:19Z","sha256":"61824e4fcb34d2ead8d7d7ddc1dcad5298624e926587763782ade13553d82da0","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-324.281","next":"us-ky/krs-324.2812"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
