{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-324.286","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 324.286","heading":"Disposition of fees -- Payment of expenses.","body":"Except for the fees and charges paid by the licensees to the commission and deposited in\nthe real estate education, research, and recovery fund, all fees and charges collected by the\ncommission under the provisions of this chapter shall be paid into the ge neral fund in the\nState Treasury. All expenses incurred by the commission under the provisions of this\nchapter, including compensations to members, secretaries, clerks, and assistants, except\nthose expenses designated for payment out of the real estate edu cation, research, and\nrecovery fund, shall be paid out of the general fund in the State Treasury upon warrants of\nthe secretary for finance and administration as warrants generally are required to be\ndrawn by the statutes governing such respective offices from time to time, when vouchers\ntherefor are exhibited and approved by the commission; provided, that the total expense\nfor every purpose incurred shall not exceed the total fees, charges, fines, and penalties\nimposed under the provisions of this chapter and paid into the State Treasury. All\nexpenses incurred by the commission and designated for payment out of the real estate\neducation, research, and recovery fund, including payments to aggrieved parties and the\nexpenses of carrying on the educational and research requirements of KRS 324.410, shall\nbe paid out of the real estate education, research, and recovery fund in the same manner\nas required in this section for payments out of the general fund; provided, that the total\nexpenses and payments for every purpose incurred and designated for payment out of the\nreal estate education, research, and recovery fund shall not exceed the total fees, charges,\nand interest received by the commission and paid into the real estate education, research,\nand recovery fund of the State Treasury.","path":["KRS Chapter 324"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=31604","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:19Z","sha256":"9cd8f6c80086f9ade98adbcb2976744953f607abcde0887c353a848ab7957b62","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-324.285","next":"us-ky/krs-324.287"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
