{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-324a.035","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 324A.035","heading":"Administrative regulations to establish requirements for certification or","body":"licensure.\n(1) The board shall promulgate administrative regulations pursuant to this chapter and\nin accordance with KRS Chapter 13A for certification or licensure  of appraisers\nwho perform appraisals of real property in federally related transactions.\nRequirements established by the board relating to appraisers of federally related\ntransactions shall not exceed the minimum requirements established by federal law\nor regulation;\n(2) The board shall promulgate administrative regulations in accordance with KRS\nChapter 13A for certification or licensure of appraisers of real property in\nnonfederally related transactions. Appraisers who wish to be limited to appraisals of\nnonfederally related transactions, and who have engaged in the appraisal of real\nproperty for at least ten (10) years prior to April 7, 1992, shall be certified or\nlicensed as appraisers of nonfederally related transactions.\n(3) The board shall establish by administrative regulations requirements for:\n(a) Classifications of appraisers;\n(b) Certification and licensure;\n(c) Renewal, suspension, or revocation of certification or licensure;\n(d) Standards of professional appraisal practice, including experience , education,\nand ethics;\n(e) Examination of applicants for certification or licensure; and\n(f) Continuing education of appraisers.","path":["KRS Chapter 324A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=58039","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:20Z","sha256":"f7b3a6a1817fa86634cf6821ab83e0ef23fde639d01f7a22d2c320cd525a1ae9","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-324a.030","next":"us-ky/krs-324a.040"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
