{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-324a.052","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 324A.052","heading":"Investigation of complaints -- Sanctions -- Hearing.","body":"(1) Any person or organization, including the board upon its own volition, may file\nwith the board a written complaint alleging a violation of any provision of this\nchapter. Complaints shall be filed with the board within one (1) year after the date\nof transmittal of the appraisal report or appraisal review assignment. This\nsubsection shall not apply to complaints involving the actions outlined in KRS\n324A.050(1)(c), (d), (g), and (k). The board shall investigate each complaint.\n(2) If the investigation reveals evidence supporting the complaint, the board shall set\nthe matter for hearing in accordance with the provisions of KRS Chapter 13B\nbefore fining, reprimanding, suspending, rev oking, refusing to renew, or any\ncombination thereof.\n(3) If the investigation reveals that the alleged violation did occur but was not of a\nserious nature, the board may issue a written admonishment to the certificate holder\nor licensee. A copy of the adm onishment shall be placed in the recipient's file with\nthe board. The recipient shall have the right to file a response to the admonishment\nwithin thirty (30) days of its receipt and have the response placed in the file. The\nrecipient may, alternatively, w ithin thirty (30) days of the receipt, file a request for\nhearing with the board. Upon receipt of this request, the board shall set aside the\nwritten admonishment and set the matter for hearing in accordance with  KRS\nChapter 13B.\n(4) After denying an application for a certificate or license or issuing an admonishment,\nthe board shall grant an administrative hearing in accordance with KRS Chapter\n13B only upon written request of the applicant made within thirty (30) days of the\nmailing of the letter of denial or admonishment.","path":["KRS Chapter 324A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=58031","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:20Z","sha256":"5358be3f95212b02d116529c6b4608d683d9432332c0480e42fa0cf10bd5d735","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-324a.050","next":"us-ky/krs-324a.054"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
