{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-324a.065","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 324A.065","heading":"Fees -- Disposition of fee -- Exceptions -- Administrative regulations.","body":"(1) The board shall establish by administrative regulation the fee amounts for all fees\nrequired by this section and the fees for services provided by the board, whi ch shall\nnot exceed amounts necessary to generate sufficient funds to effectively carry out\nand enforce this chapter. The board shall establish and collect the following fees for\ncertification or licensure as an appraiser for:\n(a) Federally related transactions:\n1. Initial application fee;\n2. Examination fee;\n3. a. A biennial certificate or licensure fee;\nb. Duplicate certificate fee; and\nc. Certificate correction fee;\n4. Roster fee; and\n5. Returned check fee; and\n(b) Nonfederally related transactions:\n1. A biennial certificate or licensure renewal fee; and\n2. Certificate correction fee.\n(2) The board shall, through the promulgation of an administrative regulation, establish\nand collect the following fees from education  providers for review and approval of\nprelicensure and continuing education courses offered by education providers for\nlicensure as an appraiser:\n(a) Prelicensure education course review fee; and\n(b) Continuing education course review fee.\n(3) (a) All fees and charges collected by the board under this chapter shall be paid\ninto the Real Property Appraisers Board's trust and agency account in the\nState Treasury.\n(b) All expenses incurred by the board under this chapter, including\ncompensation to the board me mbers and staff, shall be paid out of this\naccount, subject to approval of the board.\n(c) This subsection shall not apply to the fee charged pursuant to KRS 324A.155,\nwhich is required to be included in the appraisal management company\nrecovery fund and which shall be paid into that fund.","path":["KRS Chapter 324A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=58032","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:20Z","sha256":"a90ca99c7aef94969f6f4d02cb244823ebffbf0fa08d1c134a96c6534b36d3b7","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-324a.060","next":"us-ky/krs-324a.070"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
