{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-327.072","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 327.072","heading":"Fines -- Injunctions.","body":"(1) The board shall establish the amounts, limits, or ranges for any fines imposed under\nthis chapter through the promulgation of administrative regulations in accordance\nwith KRS Chapter 13A and shall fine any person who:\n(a) Violates or aids in the violation  of KRS 327.020, 327.025, 327.050, or\n327.060 for practicing or for performing services without a license required\nby the board;\n(b) Is issued a notice of violation by the board for failure to comply with this\nchapter or administrative regulations promulgated under this chapter;\n(c) Exercises or attempts to exercise control over, interferes with, or attempts to\ninfluence the professional judgment of a licensee in any manner, including\nthrough coercion, collusion, extortion, inducement, or intimidation;\n(d) 1. Violates any ruling of the board or hinders any agent of the board in\ncarrying out the duties assigned to the agent;\n2. Is an officer who refuses to enforce the provisions of this chapter when\ncalled upon by the board to do so; or\n3. Attempts in any way  to hinder or obstruct the board in carrying out the\nprovisions of this chapter; or\n(e) Willfully refuses to obey its lawful orders and resists, obstructs, interfere s\nwith, threatens, attempts to intimidate, or in any other manner interferes with\nan agent of the board.\n(2) Each day or part of a day that a violation continues is a separate violation and\nsubject to daily penalties.\n(3) For any violation of this chapter,  in addition to any other fines designated in this\nsection, the board may impose on any person fines in an amount equal to the cost of\ninvestigative and legal fees incurred by the board in processing the case.\n(4) The board may seek an injunction in the Ci rcuit Court of the county in which the\nalleged violation occurred against any individual who practices physical therapy\nwithout a license issued by the board under this chapter or a compact privilege\ngranted under KRS 327.300.","path":["KRS Chapter 327"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=57294","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:21Z","sha256":"2846a22a874dd9fab33b294377871ce23ebde6cdf33ad021d54f78fd7c44f3f5","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-327.070","next":"us-ky/krs-327.075"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
