{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-327.075","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 327.075","heading":"Reinstatement of license -- Appeal.","body":"(1) The board may reinstate within three (3) years a license which has lapsed upon\npayment of the prescribed renewal fee and, in addition, the payment of a\nreinstatement fee to be promulgated by the board by administrative regulations.\n(2) The board may reinst ate a license which has been lapsed for more than three (3)\nyears upon a showing that the applicant is able to practice with reasonable\ncompetency. In determining competency, the board may require the applicant to\nsuccessfully complete additional requireme nts established by the board by\npromulgation of an administrative regulation in accordance with KRS Chapter 13A.\n(3) The board may reinstate a license which has been suspended or revoked under\nprovisions of this chapter if, after a hearing conducted in acc ordance with KRS\nChapter 13B, the board determines the applicant is able to practice the profession\nwith reasonable competency and is able to maintain the ethical code and standards\nof practice promulgated by administrative regulation. As a condition of\nreinstatement, the board may impose reasonable restrictions under which the\nlicensee shall practice.\n(4) Any person aggrieved by a final order of the board denying, suspending, or\nrevoking that person's license may appeal to the Franklin Circuit Court in\naccordance with KRS Chapter 13B.","path":["KRS Chapter 327"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=57295","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:21Z","sha256":"386a05cb7542cfe87b97a5601a69f81bb3af83894fe54b0d6e65597b52a385bd","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-327.072","next":"us-ky/krs-327.080"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
