{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-329.250","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 329.250","heading":"Requirements for recognition of polygraph examiner's school.","body":"(1) In order to be recognized as an accepted training institution for detection of\ndeception examiners by the cabinet, a polygraph examiner's school must offer at\nleast two hundred and forty (240) hours of classroom training and instruction\nconsisting of, but not limited to, the following subjects:\n(a) Instrumentation of the instrument prescribed in KRS 329.020;\n(b) Psychology;\n(c) Physiology;\n(d) Question formulation;\n(e) Chart interpretation;\n(f) Interrogation;\n(g) History and legal ethics of the polygraph;\n(h) Supervised practice examinations; and\n(i) Any other courses necessary to assure adequate training of detection of\ndeception examiners.\n(2) At the request of the cabinet, a polygraph examiner's school must furnish the\ncabinet with a course outline, the n umber of hours taught for each subject, the\nnames and professional history of its owners, staff and instructors, and any other\ninformation required by the cabinet so it may determine that the school is an\nacceptable training institution.
