{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-329a.095","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 329A.095","heading":"Licensure and certification for private investigators conducting fire or","body":"arson investigations.\n(1) Any private investigator who conducts fire or arson investigations in the state of\nKentucky shall be:\n(a) Licensed in accordance with KRS 329A.025; and\n(b) Certified by the National Association of Fire Investigators or the International\nAssociation of Arson Investigators as a fire and explosion investigator.\n(2) Upon revocation of his or her certification by either the National Association of Fire\nInvestigators or the International Association of Arson Investigators, a private\ninvestigator who conducts fire or arson investigations shall cease the practice of fire\nor arson investigation.\n(3) Fire or arson investigation by a licensee under this chapter shal l be prohibited\nwithout certification.","path":["KRS Chapter 329A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=31775","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:22Z","sha256":"7eaf8517c5753f3d55c1119e09f86e363652f399cc0dc515c9d95e68b98118a3","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-329a.090","next":"us-ky/krs-330.010"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
