{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-333.190","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 333.190","heading":"Denial, revocation, or suspension of laboratory license.","body":"A medical laboratory license may be denied, revoked, suspended, limited, annulled, or\nrenewal thereof denied for any of the following reasons:\n(1) Making false statements on an application for medical laboratory license or any\nother documents required by the cabinet.\n(2) Permitting unauthorized persons to perform technical procedures or to issue or sign\nreports.\n(3) Demonstrating incompetence or making frequent errors in the performance or\nreporting of medical laboratory examinations and procedures.\n(4) Performing a test and rendering a report thereon to a person not authorized by law\nto receive such services.\n(5) Reporting the results determined on a specimen by a medical laboratory which has\nnot been licensed or exempted under this chapter.\n(6) Rendering a  report on medical laboratory work actually performed in another\nmedical laboratory without designating the name of the director and the name and\naddress of the medical laboratory in which the test was performed.\n(7) Knowingly having professional connection with or knowingly lending the use of the\nname of the licensed medical laboratory or its director to an unlicensed medical\nlaboratory.\n(8) Violating or aiding and abetting in the violation of any provision of this chapter or\nthe rules or regulations promulgated hereunder.\n(9) Failing to submit to the cabinet any report required by the provisions of this chapter\nor the reasonable rules and regulations promulgated hereunder.\n(10) Violating KRS 304.39-215.\n(11) Engaging in conduct that is subject to the penal ties under KRS 304.99 -060(4) or\n(5).","path":["KRS Chapter 333"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=49069","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:23Z","sha256":"5ee626f3071a976e3233117e44d45e68cfaa4331654508fe2596ffab1ee60c52","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-333.180","next":"us-ky/krs-333.200"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
