{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-335.300","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 335.300","heading":"Definitions for KRS 335.300 to 335.399.","body":"As used in KRS 335.300 to 335.399, unless the context otherwise requires:\n(1) \"Board\" means the Kentucky Board of Licensure of Marriage and Family\nTherapists;\n(2) \"Licensed marriage and family therapist\" means a person who has completed all of\nthe requirem ents set out in KRS 335.330 and who holds a license issued by the\nboard;\n(3) \"Marriage and family therapy associate\" means a person who has completed all\nrequirements set out in KRS 335.330 and who holds a permit issued by the board to\npractice marriage an d family therapy under the conditions set out in KRS 335.332\nand the corresponding administrative regulations promulgated by the board; and\n(4) \"The practice of marriage and family therapy\" means the identification and\ntreatment of cognitive, affective, an d behavioral conditions related to marital and\nfamily dysfunctions that involve the professional application of psychotherapeutic\nand systems theories and techniques in the delivery of services to individuals,\ncouples, and families.
