{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-335.320","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 335.320","heading":"Duties of board -- Authority to promulgate administrative regulations.","body":"The board shall:\n(1) Administer and enforce the provisions of this chapter and shall evaluate the\nqualifications of license and permit applicants;\n(2) Approve the examination required of applicants for licensure, provide for the\nadministration and grading of the examination, and provide for other matters\nrelating to licensure in the profession of marriage and family therapy;\n(3) Review the credentials of licensees to determine if they are eligible for license\nrenewal and have paid the fee provided for in KRS 335.340;\n(4) License the marriage and family therapist applicants who satisfy the experience and\neducational requirements of KRS 335.330 and have paid the fee provided for in\nKRS 335.330;\n(5) Review and approve contracts between marriage and family thera py associates and\napproved supervisors for their supervision of practice during the qualifying term;\n(6) Issue permits to marriage and family therapy associate applicants who satisfy the\nrequirements of KRS 335.332;\n(7) Adopt a code of ethics for licensed marriage and family therapists and marriage and\nfamily therapy associates;\n(8) Submit an annual report to the Governor and to the Legislative Research\nCommission by January 1 of each year, listing all hearings conducted by the board\nand any decisions rendered; and\n(9) Promulgate administrative regulations, in accordance with KRS Chapter 13A, to\nimplement the purpose and scope of KRS 335.300 to 335.399.","path":["KRS Chapter 335"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=31943","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:24Z","sha256":"90458e45bfa5619994a4213fa5404287bc2eb811ac427159fa53a2b9ca4537fa","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-335.315","next":"us-ky/krs-335.325"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
