{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-335.336","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 335.336","heading":"Licensure of applicant who holds active license from another state --","body":"Exemptions.\n(1) The board shall grant licensure under KRS 335.320 and 335.330 to an applicant\nwho:\n(a) Holds an active license from another state to practice as an independ ent\nmarriage and family therapist;\n(b) Is in good standing with the certifying or licensing board of that state;\n(c) Is of good moral character;\n(d) Has not had disciplinary actions of a serious nature brought against him or her\nby a registration, certification, or licensing board or agency;\n(e) Has met the examination requirement in KRS 335.330(3); and\n(f) Has paid the application fee to the board.\n(2) The applicant shall be exempt from:\n(a) The education required in KRS 335.330(1); and\n(b) The required ho urs of supervised experience in the practice of marriage and\nfamily therapy required in KRS 335.330(2).","path":["KRS Chapter 335"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=57525","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:24Z","sha256":"cd64d2016d596f5db7c722a3d14f6797489452c1f6d6b516c40c3e4545ad682b","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-335.335","next":"us-ky/krs-335.337"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
