{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-335.370","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 335.370","heading":"Impaired marriage and family therapist program -- Confidentiality of","body":"records -- Immunity of board members.\n(1) The board may enter into an agreement with the Kentucky Association of Marriage\nand Family Therapists for an impaired marriage and family th erapist committee to\nundertake the functions and responsibilities of an impaired marriage and family\ntherapist program, as specified in the agreement. The functions and responsibilities\nmay include any of the following:\n(a) Receiving and evaluating reports of suspected impairment from any source;\n(b) Intervening in cases of verified impairment; or\n(c) Referring impaired marriage and family therapists to treatment programs.\n(2) Other provisions of law notwithstanding, all board and committee records\npertaining to the impaired marriage and family therapist program shall be kept\nconfidential. No person in attendance at any meeting of the committee shall be\nrequired to testify as to any committee discussions or proceedings.\n(3) Other provisions of law notwithsta nding, no member of the board of the Kentucky\nAssociation of Marriage and Family Therapists or the Impaired Marriage and\nFamily Therapist Committee shall be liable for damages to any person for any acts,\nomissions, or recommendations made in good faith while acting within the scope of\nresponsibilities pursuant to this section.","path":["KRS Chapter 335"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=31953","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:24Z","sha256":"592ced1ea7642049897cc56f538d02e484d8d1411422f3971ac49956d2d92e1e","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-335.360","next":"us-ky/krs-335.380"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
