{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-341.020","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 341.020","heading":"Definitions for fund, state, contributions, and benefits.","body":"As used in this chapter, unless the context clearly requires otherwise:\n(1) \"Fund\" means the unemployment insurance fund established by KRS 341.490, to\nwhich all contributions, and from which all benefits shall be paid;\n(2) \"State\" includes, in addition to  the states of the United States of America, the\nDistrict of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the Dominion of Canada, and Virgin Islands;\n(3) \"Contributions\" means the money payments, exclusive of interest and penalties, to\nthe unemployment insurance fund required b y this chapter and by any previous\nunemployment compensation law of this state; and\n(4) \"Benefits\" means the money payments payable to a worker under this chapter and\nunder any previous unemployment compensation law of this state with respect to\nhis unemployment.","path":["KRS Chapter 341"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=32232","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:28Z","sha256":"be90924aabc75e29a02bdef519ab314e999477b446aa003f4e5a1a163cc8b25b","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-341.010","next":"us-ky/krs-341.030"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
