{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-341.110","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 341.110","heading":"Unemployment  Insurance Commission  -- Quorum  -- Salaries.","body":"(1) In the Education and  Labor Cabinet, there shall be  an  Unemployment\nInsurance Commission composed of the secretary or his or her duly authorized\nrepresentative, as ex officio chairman and two (2) members  appointed by the\nGovernor.\n(2) The  secretary shall represent the state and the public. One (1) member  shall\nbe appointed as a representative of labor and one (1) as a representative of\nemployers. The chairman and one (1) other member  of the commission shall\nconstitute a quorum.\n(3) The  members  representing labor and employers shall be appointed on the\nbasis of their merit and fitness to perform their duties and exercise the\nresponsibilities of their offices. They shall be citizens of this state and not less\nthan thirty (30) years of age.\n(4) The terms of each member  appointed to represent labor and employers shall\nbe for four (4) years from the date of appointment and until a successor is\nappointed and qualified, except that appointments to vacancies shall be for the\nunexpired term.\n(5) The compensation of the members  representing labor and employers shall be\n$12,000 each per annum.","path":["KRS Chapter 341"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=52441","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:28Z","sha256":"4aa4562c6d635f56df801d1e9a9327e8ad031568a087e941ad810907219c2ca9","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-341.102","next":"us-ky/krs-341.115"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
