{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-341.115","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 341.115","heading":"Powers and duties of the secretary -- Rules and regulations -- Appeals.","body":"(1) The secretary shall have the power and authority to adopt, amend, or rescind such\nrules and regulations as he deems necessary or suitable for the proper administration\nof this chapter. The commission shall determine its own organization and methods\nof procedure.\n(2) General and special rules may be adopted, amended, or rescinded by the secretary\nonly after public hearing or opportunity to be heard thereon, of which proper notice\nhas been given. General rules shall become effective ten (10) days after filin g with\nthe Secretary of State and publication in the manner which the commission\nprescribes. Special rules shall become effective ten (10) days after notification of or\nmailing to the last known address of the individuals or concerns affected thereby.\nRegulations shall become effective in the manner and at the time prescribed by the\nsecretary.\n(3) The commission shall serve as an appeals board to hear and decide appeals filed in\naccordance with the provisions of KRS 341.430 and shall adopt regulations\ngoverning the manner of filing appeals and the conduct of hearings and appeals\nconsistent with the provisions of this chapter.","path":["KRS Chapter 341"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=32249","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:28Z","sha256":"80d645ce66ac8722a193a5bb341a3202e626d88a25894829118fe43f55769f35","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-341.110","next":"us-ky/krs-341.116"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
