{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-341.220","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 341.220","heading":"Cooperation with other agencies.","body":"(1) In the administration of this chapter, the secretary shall:\n(a) To the fullest extent consistent with the provisions of this chapter, cooperate\nwith the federal Department of Labor;\n(b) Make such reports in such form and containing such information as such\nagency may from time to time require;\n(c) Comply with such provisions as such agency may from time to time find\nnecessary to assure the correctness and verification of such reports; and\n(d) Comply with the provisions of Title III of the Social Security Ac t relating to\nthe expenditure of such funds as may be allotted and paid to this state for the\npurpose of assisting in the administration of this chapter.\n(2) Upon request therefor the secretary shall furnish to any agency of this or any other\nstate or the United States charged with the administration of public works or\nassistance, through public employment or otherwise, the name, address, ordinary\noccupation and employment status of each recipient of benefits and such recipient's\nrights to further benefits under this chapter.\n(3) The secretary may make records relating to the administration of this chapter\navailable to the Railroad Retirement Board and may furnish the Railroad Retirement\nBoard, at the expense of that board, as many copies thereof as the board requests.\n(4) The secretary may afford reasonable cooperation, including reciprocal collection of\ncontributions by the enforcement of foreign judgments, with every agency of any\nstate or of the United States charged with the responsibility of administeri ng an\nunemployment insurance law.\n(5) The secretary shall require employment offices in this state, upon request of a public\nagency administering or supervising the administration of a state plan approved\nunder Part A of Title IV of the Social Security Act  or of a public agency charged\nwith any duty or responsibility under any program or activity authorized or required\nunder Part D of Title IV of such act, shall, and, notwithstanding any other provision\nof law, is hereby authorized to furnish to such agency  making the request, from any\ndata contained in the files of any such employment office, information with respect\nto any individual specified in the request as to (a) whether such individual is\nreceiving, has received, or has made application for unemploym ent compensation,\nand the amount of any such compensation being received by such individual; (b) the\ncurrent (or most recent) home address of such individual; and (c) whether such\nindividual has refused an offer of employment, and, if so, a description of the\nemployment so offered and terms, conditions, and rate of pay therefor, provided that\nthe secretary shall require employment offices in this state to furnish such other\ninformation as shall be required by the regulations of the Secretary of Health,\nEducation and Welfare.","path":["KRS Chapter 341"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=32264","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:28Z","sha256":"ffc57db916b9b2b1563cfbf7dad99fdfb36e6ea9db6f9b6e0e000515ed6732b1","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-341.210","next":"us-ky/krs-341.230"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
