{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-341.4171","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 341.4171","heading":"Shared work weekly benefit amount calculation.","body":"(1) The shared work weekly benefit amount shall be the product of the regular weekly\nunemployment compensation amount, as calculated under KRS 341.380, multiplied\nby the percentage of reduction of at least ten percent (10%) in the individual's usual\nweekly hours of work.\n(2) An individual may be eligible for shared work benefits or regular benefits, as\nappropriate, except that no individual shall be eligible for regular benefits, shared\nwork benefits, or a combination of regular benefits and shared work benefit s in any\nbenefit year in an amount more than the maximum benefit amount established for\nregular benefits in KRS 341.380, nor shall an individual be paid shared work\nbenefits for more than twenty -six (26) weeks, whether or not consecutive, in any\nbenefit year pursuant to a shared work plan.\n(3) The shared work benefits paid to an individual shall be deducted from the\nmaximum benefit amount established for his or her benefit year under KRS\n341.380.\n(4) The secretary shall promulgate rules and procedures for t he filing of claims for\nshared work benefits.","path":["KRS Chapter 341"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=53254","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:29Z","sha256":"86d8e2966d0e4d2276d1a7a253b35c7a77f22117988bdf2db1a50dec6f802a8e","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-341.4169","next":"us-ky/krs-341.4173"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
