{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-341.430","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 341.430","heading":"Review by commission.","body":"(1) The commission may on its own motion affirm, modify, or set aside any decision of\na referee on the basis of the evidence previously submitted in such case, or direct\nthe taking of additional evidence, or may permit any of the parties to such decision\nto initiate further appeals before it. The commission may remove to itself or transfer\nto another referee the proceedings on any claims pending before a referee.\n(2) An application for review by the commission of any administrative determination\naffecting an employing unit's liability, contribution rate, or amount of contributions\nmay be filed by such employing unit within twenty (20) days after notice of such\ndetermination was mailed to such employing unit's last known address.\n(3) Any proceedings before the commission shall be heard and determined by the entire\ncommission composed of three (3) members, except that no member of the\ncommission shall participate in any case in which he is an interested party, and the\nchairman shall act alone in the absence or disq ualification of any other member.\nThe commission shall promptly notify the parties to any proceedings of its findings\nand decisions.","path":["KRS Chapter 341"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=32305","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:29Z","sha256":"0185c0c7b79b5edad916e9929cb78318a19fa98198a74c5c836a51be950baec5","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-341.420","next":"us-ky/krs-341.440"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
