{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-342.118","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 342.118","heading":"Department of Workers' Claims -- Commissioner -- Organizational units -","body":"- Chief administrative law judge.\n(1) There is hereby created the Department of Workers' Claims administratively\nattached to the Office of the Governor, which shall be headed by a commissioner\nappointed by the Governor and confirmed by the Senate in accordance with KRS\n342.228.\n(2) The department shall be divided for administrative purposes into the:\n(a) Office of the Commissioner;\n(b) Office of General Counsel;\n(c) Office of Administrative Law Judges;\n(d) Division of Claims Processing;\n(e) Division of Security and Compliance;\n(f) Division of Workers' Compensation Funds; and\n(g) Division of Specialist and Medical Services.\n(3) The Office of Administrative Law Judges shall be hea ded by a chief administrative\nlaw judge appointed in accordance with KRS 342.230.\n(4) Each division in the department shall be headed by a director.\n(5) The Workers' Compensation Board shall be attached to the Department of Workers'\nClaims for administrative purposes only.","path":["KRS Chapter 342"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=56770","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:30Z","sha256":"d8fd0002bdd18ca493a9f005a71a05a0e682d6df7b22d2f50a2c7ff0cb7e457b","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-342.115","next":"us-ky/krs-342.120"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
