{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-342.796","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 342.796","heading":"Notice of education and training opportunities.","body":"(1) Notwithstanding any provisions of the KRS to the contrary, every employer\nengaged in the severance or processing of coal, as defined in KRS 342.0011, at its\nprincipal office and such other locations where employees customarily report for\npayroll and personnel matters, shall conspicuously post a notice advising employees\nof the education and training opportunities available under this chapter. The notice\nshall include:\n(a) Toll-free telephone numbers for the:\n1. Department of Workers' Claims;\n2. Kentucky Community and Technical College System; and\n3. Kentucky Higher Education Assistance Authority;\n(b) Telephone numbers for the local board of education and centers for adult\neducation and literacy; and\n(c) A list of approved education and training programs avai lable to employees\nengaged in the severance or processing of coal.\n(2) The notice shall be made available to all employers at no cost and upon request of\nthe employer.
