{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-342.815","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 342.815","heading":"Insurance coverage provisions.","body":"(1) The authority may provide coverage for insurance, authorized in KRS 342.803, to\nany employer in the Commonwealth, and who tenders the required premium for\ncoverage and comply with other conditions and qualifications for obtaining and\nmaintaining coverage a dopted by the authority to protect and ensure its actuarial\nsoundness and solvency.\n(2) The authority shall provide coverage to any employer who is unable to secure\ncoverage in the voluntary market unless:\n(a) The employer owes undisputed premiums to a pre vious workers'\ncompensation carrier or to a workers' compensation residual market\nmechanism; or\n(b) Providing coverage to the employer would subject the authority or its\nemployees to a violation of federal or state law.","path":["KRS Chapter 342"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=54050","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:32Z","sha256":"993d53939267ba09c0660dfedf721ceb101a801790ba68fc375ebf87cb5d8f7a","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-342.813","next":"us-ky/krs-342.817"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
