{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-342.841","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 342.841","heading":"Applicability of open meetings and open records provisions.","body":"(1) The board shall comply with KRS Chapter 61 in regard to open meetings and open\nrecords in the conduct of ordinary business. In addition to the exemptions listed in\nKRS Chapter 61, proceedings to discuss rates, proposed rates, or anything that\nrelates to ra tes if that discussion would jeopardize the competitiveness of the\nauthority may be closed, as well as, proceedings which would provide an unfair\ncompetitive advantage to private sector competitors providing workers'\ncompensation coverage in the Commonwealth.\n(2) All records of the authority shall be deemed open records and subject to public\ninspection, unless:\n(a) The record is excluded from inspection under KRS Chapter 61;\n(b) The record includes information that would provide an unfair competitive\nadvantage to private sector competitors providing workers' compensation\ncoverage in the Commonwealth;\n(c) In addition to the exemption provided by KRS 61.878(1)(c)1., the record is\ngenerated by the authority, generally recognized as confidential or proprietary,\nand which if openly disclosed would permit an unfair commercial advantage\nto competitors of the authority or other entity to which the record relates; and\n(d) The record relates to a fraud investigation conducted by the authority and that\ndoes not become evidence in a criminal or civil action.","path":["KRS Chapter 342"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=32580","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:32Z","sha256":"86a4d79d43e6ac854f1ffc58bbc220b7a739ed8d02e74dd120cadcc1365a918d","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-342.839","next":"us-ky/krs-342.843"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
