{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-343.080","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 343.080","heading":"Applicability of terms or provisions of chapter.","body":"(1) Nothing in this chapter or in any apprenticeship or on -the-job training agreement\napproved under this chapter shall operate to invalidate:\n(a) Any apprenticeship or on -the-job training provision in any collective\nagreement between employers and employees setting up higher standards; or\n(b) Any special provision for veterans, minority persons, or women in the\nstandards, apprentice qualifications, or operation of the program, or in the\napprenticeship agreement, which is not otherwise prohibited by law, executive\norder, or administrative regulation.\n(2) None of the terms or provisions of this chapter shall apply to any person, firm,\ncorporation, or occupation, unless such person, firm, corporation, or occupation\nvoluntarily elects that the terms and provisions of this chapter shall apply.","path":["KRS Chapter 343"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=42992","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:33Z","sha256":"7c838f2fcfef2116ea25786d1389afe714887c8093d617088531e95cd9eb1082","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-343.070","next":"us-ky/krs-343.090"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
