{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-345.100","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 345.100","heading":"Requirements for an agreement -- Enforcement in Circuit Court.","body":"(1) Any agreement reached by the negotiators shall be reduced to writing and shall be\nexecuted by both parties.\n(2) An agreement between the public employer and a labor organization shall be valid\nand enforced under its terms when entered into in accordance with the provisions of\nthis chapter and signed by the chief executive officer of the political subdivision or\nhis representative. No publication thereof shall be required to make it effective. The\nprocedure for the making of an agreement between a political subdivision and a\nlabor organization provided by this chapter shall be the exclusive method of making\na valid agreement for firefighters represented by a labor organization.\n(3) Suits for violation of agreements between a public employer and a labor\norganization representing firefighters may be brought by the parties to such\nagreement in the Circuit Court of the county of the employer or in cases where the\nstate is the employer in the Franklin Circuit Court.","path":["KRS Chapter 345"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=32687","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:34Z","sha256":"9ef58a782324cd12e1964bcda5e7c10ba6bc4443044cd659cbfe68c01a6b3a9f","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-345.090","next":"us-ky/krs-345.110"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
