{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-349.155","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 349.155","heading":"Penalties.","body":"(1) Any person who violates any provision of this chapter shall be subject to a fine of\nnot more than one thousand dollars ($1,000) or imprisonment for a term not\nexceeding one hundred eighty (180) days, or both.\n(2) Any person who continues to violate any pro vision of this chapter, or any\nadministrative regulation or order promulgated or issued under this chapter after\nbeing notified in writing of the violation by the department, shall be subject to a fine\nof not more than one thousand dollars ($1,000) or impr isonment for a term not\nexceeding one hundred eighty (180) days, or both.\n(3) Any person who does any of the following for the purpose of evading or violating\nthis chapter or any administrative regulation or order promulgated or issued under\nthis chapter shall be subject to a fine of not more than one thousand dollars ($1,000)\nor imprisonment for a term not exceeding one hundred and eighty (180) days, or\nboth:\n(a) Makes or causes to be made a false entry or statement in a report, record,\naccount, or memoran dum, required by this chapter, or by any administrative\nregulation or order under this chapter;\n(b) Omits or causes to be omitted from a report, record, account, or memorandum\nfull, true, and correct entries and information as required by this chapter, or by\nany administrative regulation or order under this chapter; or\n(c) Removes from this Commonwealth or destroys, mutilates, alters, or falsifies a\nreport, record, account, or memorandum required by this chapter, or by any\nadministrative regulation or order.\n(4) Any person who knowingly aids or abets any other person in the violation of any\nprovision of this chapter, or any administrative regulation or order promulgated or\nissued under this chapter, shall be subject to the same penalty as that prescribed in\nthis section for the violation by the other person.","path":["KRS Chapter 349"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=32754","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:35Z","sha256":"8fad866b848341ebbced5af3154457da5e9877791441eef5cf87e7a019524859","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-349.150","next":"us-ky/krs-349.160"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
