{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-35.110","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 35.110","heading":"Who may convene special courts-martial.","body":"(1) Special courts-martial may be convened by:\n(a) Any person who may convene a general court-martial;\n(b) The commanding officer of a garrison, fort, post, camp, station, Air National\nGuard base, or naval base or station;\n(c) The commanding officer of a briga de, regiment, detached battalion, or\ncorresponding unit of the Army;\n(d) The commanding officer of a wing, group, separate squadron, or\ncorresponding unit of the Air Force; or\n(e) The commanding officer or officer in charge of any other command, when\nempowered by the adjutant general.\n(2) If any such officer is an accuser, the court shall be convened by superior competent\nauthority, and may in any case be convened by that superior authority if considered\ndesirable by that authority.","path":["KRS Chapter 35"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=41899","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:48:52Z","sha256":"40748f48ccc6c725ff15613507c9c332c3de13ba009c6cfcf51b74402791ac5f","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-35.105","next":"us-ky/krs-35.115"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
