{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-350.029","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 350.029","heading":"Regulations to implement Interstate Mining Compact -- Adoption --","body":"Limitations.\nThe cabinet is hereby authorized and empowered to adopt, after public hearing,\nreasonable regulations in order to formulate and establish effective programs for the\ncontrol of surface soil disturbance in connection with mining as defined by the Interstate\nMining Compact. Such regulations shall follow the general standards established in\nArticle III of the Interstate Mining Compact. The cabinet shall have the authority to adopt\nsuch regulations prior to the effective date of the Interstate Mining Compact and\nirrespective of whether the state becomes a member or withdraws from membership in\nthe Interstate Mining Compact.
