{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-350.595","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 350.595","heading":"Application for inclusion under Abandoned Mine Land Enhancement","body":"Program -- Coverage under Kentucky reclamation guaranty fund.\n(1) An applicant who desires to remine property which is classified as abandoned mine\nland under KRS 350.560 may apply to the Reclamation Guaranty Fund Commission\nestablished in KRS 350.506 for inclusion under the Abandoned Mine Land\nEnhancement Program. The commission may provide coverage under the Kentucky\nreclamation guaranty fund established pursuant to KRS 350.503 not to ex ceed fifty\npercent (50%) of the bond amount which the cabinet determines under KRS\n350.060 is necessary for the abandoned mine land.\n(2) When the bond required for the abandoned mine land under KRS 350.060 is\nincreased or reduced, or is released in whole or in part, the coverage provided by the\nbond pool shall be proportionately increased or reduced.\n(3) In the event of bond forfeiture on the property, moneys from the Kentucky\nreclamation guaranty fund shall be used to supplement the forfeited bond.","path":["KRS Chapter 350"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=41776","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:36Z","sha256":"3fb9d9c5afab33385e98012c849c36a66b93a85c7366bc8f607b45ef6f2b4136","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-350.590","next":"us-ky/krs-350.597"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
