{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-352.350","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 352.350","heading":"Mine foreman to notify licensee or superintendent of dangers -- Duties as","body":"to reports -- Compliance with inspector's recommendations.\n(1) The mine foreman shall notify, in writing, the licensee or superintendent of the mine\nof his inability to comply w ith any of the requirements of the mining laws, and the\nlicensee or superintendent shall at once attend to the matter complained of by the\nmine foreman so as to enable him to comply with the mining laws.\n(2) The mine foreman shall each day enter and sign plainly with ink, in a book provided\nfor that purpose, a report of the condition of the mine. The report shall clearly state\nany danger that comes under his observation during the day or is reported to him by\nhis assistants or by the fire bosses, and shall state what action was taken to correct\nsuch danger, whether or not there is a proper supply of material on hand for the safe\nworking of the mine, and whether or not the mining laws are being complied with.\nThe mine foreman shall each day read carefully, an d countersign with ink, all\nreports entered in the record book of the fire bosses.\n(3) The mine superintendent, mine manager, mine foreman, and assistant foreman shall\nbe held jointly responsible for the immediate compliance with the provisions of\nKRS Chapter 351 and this chapter.","path":["KRS Chapter 352"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=33015","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:38Z","sha256":"b55fabd414f4104e25e64fb70ff7855e80f07ce95d2c3be3bacfbc195a37830b","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-352.340","next":"us-ky/krs-352.360"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
