The\napplication fee established on the fee schedule developed under KRS 353.459 shall\nbe calculated to e nsure sufficient funds are available for the actual or anticipated\ncost to the cabinet for the review of the application.\n(2) Sequestration operators shall pay an annual administrative fee to the cabinet. The\nadministrative fee established on the fee sched ule developed under KRS 353.459\nshall be calculated to ensure sufficient funds are available for the actual or\nanticipated cost to the cabinet for the regulation of sequestration facilities.\n(3) Sequestration operators seeking completion certificates shall  pay the cabinet a fee\nestablished on the fee schedule developed under KRS 353.459. The fee shall be\ncalculated to ensure sufficient funds are available for the actual or anticipated cost\nto the cabinet for the review of the permit and records relating to the operation of\nthe sequestration facility to determine eligibility for issuance of the completion\ncertificate.\n(4) The application and completion certificate fees shall be deposited in the carbon\ndioxide sequestration facility administrative fund established in KRS 353.437.","path":["KRS Chapter 353"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=57872","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:39Z","sha256":"8707eb05340b0a1f74f31f6767b948b80b5491c56335661a9c5db4a4a0a60dd3","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-353.437","next":"us-ky/krs-353.441"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
