{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-353.750","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 353.750","heading":"Definitions for KRS 353.750 to 353.776.","body":"As used in KRS 353.750 to 353.776, unless the context requires otherwise:\n(1) \"Agreement\" means a written contract between the authority and any person or\npersons, firm, corporation, local government, or public entity providing for or\nrelating to the finan cing of the construction, reconstruction, improvement, or repair\nof one (1) or more projects of the authority;\n(2) \"Authority\" means the Kentucky Gas Pipeline Authority created by KRS 353.752;\n(3) \"Bonds\" mean revenue bonds, notes, or other obligations iss ued under the\nprovisions of KRS 353.756, 353.758, or 353.768;\n(4) \"Cost\" means the expenditures for construction, acquisition, financing charges,\ninterest prior to and during construction, principal and interest on any bonds or\nnotes or obligations issued by the authority, engineering and legal expenses, plans,\nspecifications, cost and revenue estimates, other expenses necessary or incidental to\ndetermining the feasibility or practicability of constructing any project,\nadministrative expenses, and such othe r expenses necessary or incident to the\nconstruction of and placing into operation a project, the financing of the\nconstruction, and the acquisition of the project;\n(5) \"Project\" means the construction, reconstruction, improvement, or repair of any gas\npipeline or appurtenant facilities, together with all property, rights, easements, and\ninterests which may be acquired by the authority to facilitate the construction,\nreconstruction, improvement, or repair of any gas pipeline or appurtenant facilities.\nExcept for projects involving repair or replacement, projects shall be limited to\nareas where no gas pipelines exist or where existing lines have insufficient capacity\nto transport Kentucky gases to market; and\n(6) \"Gas\" means natural gas, coalbed or other meth ane gas, carbon dioxide gas, crude\noil or petroleum products, or any elements of natural gas or other gas.","path":["KRS Chapter 353"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=33150","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:40Z","sha256":"20934a33875bb55292b0d4feed51ffc5f9a358f216f668d93a606aeb43b29344","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-353.747","next":"us-ky/krs-353.752"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
